Product Description
PPGI is the abbreviation of Pre-Painted Galvanized, that is, pre-painted galvanized steel. Usually refers to PPGI Coil (color-coated galvanized coil), PPGI Sheet (color-coated galvanized sheet) and other steel products. It is based on galvanized coils and then covered with color coatings to give the product more Color, and this rich and beautiful surface makes it more versatile in use.
Color-coated coil is based on hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip galvanized sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, etc. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or several layers of organic coatings are applied on the surface, and then A product that is baked and cured. It is named after the colored steel coils coated with various colors of organic coatings, referred to as color-coated coils.
Hot-dip galvanized substrate:
The product is plated with 55% AL-Zn, has excellent corrosion resistance, and its service life is more than four times that of ordinary galvanized steel sheets. It is the replacement product of galvanized sheet.
Features:

Types of Color Coated Coils
Polyester (PE)
Good adhesion, rich color, wide range in formability and outdoor durability, medium chemical resistance, low cost.
Silicon modified polyester
Namely (SMP), the coating film has good hardness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance, as well as good external durability and chalk resistance, gloss retention, average flexibility, and moderate cost.
High Durability Polyester
Namely (HDP), excellent color retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalk resistance, good film adhesion, rich color, excellent cost performance.
Polyvinylidene fluoride
Namely (PVDF), excellent color retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalk resistance, excellent solvent resistance, good formability, dirt resistance, limited color, high cost.
Applications
Uses of different coating structures:
2/1: The corrosion resistance and scratch resistance of the single-layer back paint are poor, but it has good adhesion and is mainly used in sandwich panels;
2/1M: The back paint has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processability, and has good adhesion. It is suitable for single-laminated panels and sandwich panels.
2/2: The corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability of the double-layer back paint are good, and most of them are used for single-layer laminates, but their adhesion is poor, so they are not suitable for sandwich panels.
